Avocado Dip

Ingrediants

 1 Tsp  Wasabi    

 2 Finely chopped red onions

1 Large lemon

Salt and pepper

1Avocado

Preparation

Squeeze the lemon and add chopped red onions  blend it well

slice avocado and skin off

add avocado and mix it well.

Add salt and pepper to taste

Choco Chip Cookies

This is the best recipe for cookies! easy and delicious.Sure to be your favourite




Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cook Time           : 10 minutes
Servings    2 to 3 dozen depending on size


Ingredients:

1    Cup of butter or 225 gm
3/4 Cup white sugar
3/4 Cup  Brown sugar
2 Eggs
2 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
2 1/4 Cups plain white flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 Cups chocolate chips


Directions:

* Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C,Grease oven tray
* Cream The butter,white and Brown sugar untill light and fluffy
*Add the eggs into mix one at a time,and then stir in vanilla
*Combine the flour ,baking soda and salt,then stir inton creamed mixture
*Fold in the chocolate chips
*Place the rounded spoonfuls into the prepared baking tray
*Bake until light brown approximately 8 to 10 minutes
*Let sit for 5 minutes and then transfer to rack to cool


This receipe can adapted to your tastes

Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

1¾ cups Self Raising Flour



5 Tsp  tablespoons castor sugar (taste if you need more sugar add couple more Tsp)


1 egg lightly beaten


¾ cup milk


4 oz butter, melted


1 teaspoon Baking Powder

Frozen Blueberry 3/4 cup or 1 Cup


Vanilla Essence 1/2 Tsp



METHOD:


*Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Into a small bowl,

*melt butter,and add milk.

*Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, and mix.

 *Do Not over beat.


* 3/4 fill muffin tins.


*Bake 400 deg F, or 220 deg C for 10 - 15 minutes,

* just above middle of oven.

VARIETIES TO TRY:


Substitute with the following ingredients

*Add spices (mixed spice, cinnamon) and dried or fresh fruit chopped.


*Essences, or lemon or orange juice, and grated peel.


*Sprinkle with brown sugar, and cinnamon mixed together.


*Add dried fruits, e.g. sultanas, currants, chopped apricots.


*Add chopped fresh fruit e.g. apple, banana, apricot, peach, rhubarb.

Anbu's Orange Eggs


Ingredients

6 tsp Sunflower oil
8 Boiled Eggs
1 Tsp Mustard seed
2 twigs Curry leaves
1 Tsp Uridh dhall
1 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Pepper crushed or pounded but not powdery
Salt to taste


Preparation

*Cut Boiled eggs into two




*Pour oil into non stick fry pan
*once oil is heated throw in mustard seed allow it to splatter
* Then add curry leaves follwed by uridh dhall
*Add turmeric powder and pepper and salt stirr it for 30 seconds
*Then place cut eggs into the pan cutside facing down



* Cook for few minutes until you spot orange colour at the edges
* Turn Gently and cook untill the entire eggs turn to orange
Normally takes 10 to 15 minutes


Now your Anbu's Orange eggs is ready




This is one of anbu's special and you will never find thisrecipe in any cook book in this world.

Bombay Toast or French Toast

Ingredients



     750g white sweet bread Bread
      6 Eggs
     1 1/2 cup full cream Milk
     1/4 cup of white Sugar or sugar to taste
     2 Tsp Vanilla
    * Brown sugar and Cinamon mixed
      Pinch of salt

Directions
    Beat together egg, milk and sugar to a batter.
    Add vanilla
    Heat a pan and spread a little butter.
    Dip a slice of bread in the batter and fry till golden brown turning it once on either side.




      Careful not to break the bread.

       To make it more tastier ,Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinamon mix on top of each toast
       and  fan bake for 5 minutwes or less @ 200 degrees C

  *   And serve Hot with strawberries or blue berries
      Can be used as breakfast or evening snack

Banana   Cake

Ingredients

125 Gms butter

1 Cup sugar

1 Egg

2 Mash Bananas

1 1/2 Cup plain flour

1 1/2 Tsp baking powder

1Tsp baking soda

3 tsp  warm milk

Preparation

* Cream Butter sugar till lite and fluffy
*Add egg and beat well
*Add mashed bananas and pulse 2 seconds
*In separate bowl sieve flour,Baking powder
*Add in Creamed Banana mixture gently
*Dissolve baking soda in milk and add to the mixture
*Bake 45 minutes in moderate Oven for 180 Deg C

Mango Rice

Origin from Anbu's house, Tangy Mango Rice makes a great one-dish meal. Serve it with poppadums and meat and potato Gravy


Ingredients:

• 4 cups cooked Basmati rice (you can also use leftover rice)

• 11/2 cup large unriped green Cooking mango Grated  fine

• 5 tbsps  sunflower cooking oil or Olive oil or You can use ghee if you have less cholestrol

• 1 tsp mustard seeds

• 1 large red onion chopped fine

• 6 green chillies slit lengthwise

• 1" piece of ginger grated Fresh Ginger Root in Slices and Grated Photographic Poster Print by Winfried Heinze, 18x24

• 2 tsps coriander powder

• 1 tsp cumin powder

• 1/2 tsp tumeric

• 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder

• 1/4 cup water

• 2tsp Channa dhal

• 5Tsp fresh Grated coconut

• Salt to taste and corriander to garnish

Preparation:

First cook the white rice and  cool it*( do not over cook the rice)

 
• Heat the oil in a deep pan and add the mustard seeds,and curry leaves  When they stop spluttering 
   Add Channa Dhal

• Add red onions fry until its soft and brown

• Add the coriander, cumin and tumeric powders, salt to taste and mix well.
   Cook on a low flame for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.

 • Add Grated ginger after few minutes add Grated mango cook well with addition of water

• Once it becomes little concentrated taste for salt and if you require tangy taste
   add few drops of lemon concentrate
 • Turn off the fire and add the cooked rice. Mix well.
